  • One RDS instance named devops-rds is already running in us-east-1 region, take a snapshot of this RDS instance and name it as devops-rds-snapshot.

Steps

  1. RDS → Databases → Actions → Take snapshot

  2. RDS → Snapshots → Take snapshot

  3. Successfully created snapshot devops-rds-snapshot.
